COMMUNITY BASED REHABILITATION SERVICES
COMMUNITY BASED REHABILITATION SERVICES (CBRS) ARE OFFERED TO CHILDREN WITH SEVERE & PERSISTENT EMOTIONAL DISTURBANCES TO ENHANCE SKILLS NEEDED TO REDUCE THE IMPACT THAT THE SYMPTOMS OF MENTAL ILLNESS HAVE ON THEIR LIVES.
Services are offered to children who have been deemed appropriate through our assessment procedure and Optum rule. The CBRS worker will meet with the qualified participant on a weekly basis and assists them in achieving their personal goals and outcomes using a variety of techniques designed to obtain the best results for the unique needs of the client.
Home and community based individual services include:
- Symptom Management Skills
- Relationship skills: family, friends, interpersonal etc.
- Independent living skills
- Communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Healthy coping skills
