Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones is a daily intensive therapy program for 3-6 year old children. This program provides qualified Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy paired with DDA Behavioral Intervention. Our program connects each child with targeted therapy services to promote early intervention, skill development, and generalization across settings.

Areas of learning and skill development:

  • Cognitive development with attention to tasks and processing information, problem solving, and imaginative play and curiosity.
  • Communication skills, including needs, interactions between peers, and receptive and expressive language.
  • Social emotional development of the self, sharing, taking turns, and creating relationships.
  • Physical and motor development through gross motor, fine motor, and coordination skills.
  • Self-care and adaptive skills with practicing daily routines such as cleaning up, handwashing, and toileting.

Our approach utilizes many different evidence-based practices that incorporate play, socialization, sensory integration and exploration, communication practice, structured activities, movement, fine motor, and art.
